Rugged waterproof housing includes universal tripod mount
The Sony HDR-AS20 is supplied with a tough, waterproof housing with a universal tripod mount. It’s ready to handle extreme environments, allowing you to concentrate on safety and composition while capturing your footage. Sealed in the housing, the camera is waterproof down to 5m and has a shock resistance rating for up to 5-foot drops; additionally, dirt and dust-resistant seals make it nearly impervious to mud, snow, rain, and grit.

11.9 Megapixel photo mode
Put your HDR-AS20 in still image mode and capture amazing high-quality 11.9MP still images as easily as you do with a camera. Alternatively, the timelapse mode lets you automatically capture stunning speed up image sequences.

Underwater mode
Action Cam can take beautiful, natural colour images even underwater. Simply set the underwater white balance before shooting to prevent a distorted greenish color, keeping water as “true blue” as it appears. Note: Waterproof Case SPK-AS2 enables underwater shooting to 5m depth. For diving, Underwater Housing MPK-AS3 allows shooting to 60m depth.

Easy video flip
Upside-down Flip function is especially useful when the Action Cam is shooting from an inverted position. The user can choose an inversion setting prior to operation so the camera will capture footage in standard orientation.

4-video editing with Video Merge
Video Merge lets you combine up to four movie footage segments (even slow-motion parts) captured simultaneously by different cameras, and make a split-screen composite. With this unique feature anyone can create impressive movies without mastering complex editing software.
